Sayyid Badr receives UNGA president

Muscat – 

H E Sayyid Badr bin Saud al Busaidi, Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs, received in his workplace at Mu’askar Bait al Falaj on Wednesday María Fernanda Espinosa Garcés, president of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), who is presently going to the sultanate to provide a lecture at the National Defence College.

María commended the sultanate’s part in supporting the international peace and stability in the Middle East and the entire globe.

She also praised the sultanate’s efforts and noble stances in developing bridges of understanding and cooperation in different globe nations. She also commended the smart leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said as nicely as the sultanate’s powerful cooperation and assistance for the UN efforts in cementing multilateral international cooperation in different fields.

The meeting exchanged cordial conversations and discussed a quantity of matters of frequent concern. The meeting was attended by Khalifa bin Ali al Harthy, the sultanate’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations and Maj Gen Salim bin Musallam Qatan, commandant of the National Defence College.
