Say no to bullying: App to help children talk on mental health issues

The occasion will be the second edition of the #NotAlone mental health awareness initiative in Oman, whose concept is to spread awareness in a really inventive way and offer possibilities for children, teenagers and adults to interact, connect and share issues associated to mental health.

The app has been created by the fund generated by means of the initial edition of the forum. Whispers of Serenity Clinic is the initial private mental health and counselling clinic in Oman founded by H H Sayyida Basma al Said. The aim is not only about offering therapy for folks but also spreading awareness about mental health in Oman.

H H Sayyida Basma stated, “The app will address several issues related to children in Oman including child abuse, online bullying and also games to activate their mind power. People have been generous enough to donate enough for us to develop the application and we are happy to finally make and launch the same in the second edition of #NotAlone mental health forum.”

She added, “We are also providing a major platform for these youngsters to express themselves and discuss issues related to their mental and physical health and safety through an informal and friendly platform.”

The app can be downloaded from Playstore.
