Jusoor announces social investment projects worth RO2.7mn for 2019

Muscat – 

Jusoor Foundation announced that it will implement 14 social projects in the educational, environmental, well being, cultural and entrepreneurship fields. These projects will be co-financed by Orpic, Sohar Aluminium and Vale in cooperation with a quantity of government partners. The projects, worth RO2,700,000, will also consist of this year the governorates of North Batinah, Dhahirah, Buraimi and Muscat.

The specifics have been announced in the presence of H E Sheikh Muhanna bin Saif bin Salim al Lamki, Governor of North Batinah, chairman of the Board of Directors of Jusoor, as effectively as officials of the 3 founding businesses of Jusoor and media.

H E Sheikh Lamki stated, “The year 2019 strategy will consist of the implementation of 14 social projects in the educational, environmental, well being, cultural and entrepreneurship fields, co-financed by Orpic, Sohar Aluminum and Vale in cooperation with a quantity of government partners straight involved in every project. “The second project is the school bus tracking system, to improve the school bus safety system in 795 buses of the government schools in the first phase in North Batinah.” He also pointed out that Orpic and Sohar Aluminium will jointly fund two projects in the cultural sector in North Batinah which will consist of improvement of Qurm park, improvement of tourism and environmental facilities in the wilayat of Shinas and supporting entrepreneurs.
