Forum examines latest in fire fighting technologies

Organised by Fire, Safety and Security Division of Technical Trading, the occasion showcased the latest technologies in cool fire, transportable fire pumps, fire hoses, variety of fluorine totally free firefighting foams which includes JetFoam ICAO Level B &amp ICAO Level C and new Respondol ATF three-six per cent.

The technical seminar was performed to update the understanding of customers comprising the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulances (PACDA), Oman Airports, Petroleum Development Oman, Orpic, Oman LNG, Oxy Oman, OOCEP amongst other people on the new technologies in firefighting.

“We received an overwhelming response and representatives of all the leading fire brigades of Oman with 35 delegates attending the seminar,” stated Ibrahim al Sulaimi, common manager of Technical Trading adding, “We have been working with Angus Fire, a leader in firefighting technology, for more than 15 years. Technical Trading is keen on bringing new technologies to Oman in collaboration with Angus Fire.”

He added that the business is identified for final 48 years for introducing latest technologies in the marketplace to shield life, home and atmosphere in Oman.

Martin Hough stated Angus Fire’s manufacturing history goes back more than 200 years. Angus Fire has maintained its position at the forefront of fire protection technologies by means of continuous investment in analysis and improvement.

The special mixture of technical knowledge in rubber and textile technologies (fire hose), specialty chemical compounds (foam concentrates) and engineering style (firefighting gear) has enabled it to accomplish many technological firsts.

Yusuf Tambawala, deputy common manager – Fire, Safety and Security Division, stated that the division has expanded its solution variety and knowledge to meet the developing demand of latest technologies.
