‘On the occasion of the blessed Eid al Adha 1440 AH, the Eid holidays for workers in the ministries, public authorities and other departments of the state apparatus will be from Sunday, Dhul Hijjah 9, 1440 AH corresponding to August 11 till Thursday, Dhul Hijjah 13, 1440 AH corresponding to August 15.

‘Work will resume on Sunday, Dhul Hijjah 16, 1440 AH corresponding to August 18,’ according to the choice. Sayyid Khalid extended his greetings to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said on this blessed occasion, praying to Allah the Almighty to shield His Majesty the Sultan, grant him great well being, happiness and a extended life and for the return of this and equivalent occasions on him for several years to come and the Omani folks and the dear nation additional progress and welfare beneath his leadership.
