Comex opens beneath theme ‘Digitalising the Future’

Organised by Oman International Trade &amp Exhibitions, the occasion is getting held beneath the patronage of the Information Technology Authority (ITA).

Over 110 premier exhibitors and 15 nations are showcasing goods in the 3-day exhibition getting held beneath the theme ‘Digitalising the Future’.

Besides nearby businesses, firms from Canada, the US, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the UAE, Jordan, India, Singapore, Japan, France, Czech Republic, Italy, Poland, Germany, and Spain are displaying goods at the expo.

To preserve up with the ever-evolving tech situation, Comex brings to light dynamic segments that create enterprise achievement in the digital economy. The highlights of this year are Comex Business, e-Oman, and e-Lifestyle.

During the occasion, ITA’s Oman government portal launched its very first robot Chatbot: ‘Manshood’, which is an interactive chatting programme operated by AI technologies about the clock. It primarily serves the public by introducing government solutions and highlighting nearby occasions, and brings the very best client expertise. From that viewpoint, numerous other institutions are approaching ITA to produce their personal chatbot.

Sayyid Kamil stated, “ITA has successfully inaugurated this promising technology field in Oman through training and qualifying Omanis. Comex exhibition focuses on many sectors, including manufacture, oil and gas, health and tourism. Oman has to keep up with the 4th Industrial Revolution and apply leading technologies, such as IoT, Blockchain, smart cities and AI.”

Omar Salim al Shanfari, deputy CEO for Operations at ITA, stated, “Comex is a pilot ICT exhibition in Oman that attracts and encourages international and local tech companies to present their products in the Omani market.”

Comex is open from 10am to 8pm.
