State Council chairman leads delegation to Czech Republic

The Omani delegation is presently on an official 4-day go to to the Czech Republic upon an invitation of the president of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, stated a press release.

The State Council delegation is scheduled to meet Milan Štěch, president of Senate of the Czech Republic Parliament, Andrej Babiš, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Martin Stropnický, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ilja Šmíd, Minister of Culture and other dignitaries.

The delegation will go to a quantity of financial and industrial establishments to meet with the officials to discover about the Czech expertise in these places. The itinerary also consists of the opening of an exhibition reflecting the improvement of relations among the sultanate and the Czech Republic.

The go to is aimed at strengthening relations among the sultanate and the Czech Republic, and building cooperation among them in different fields, particularly in the parliamentary fields.

The delegation was observed off on Sunday at Muscat International Airport by Hon Sheikh al Khattab bin Ghalib al Hinai, deputy chairman of the State Council and Hon Dr Suad bint Mohammed al Lawati, deputy chairperson of the council and H E Dr Khalid bin Salim al Saidi, secretary common of the State Council.

The delegation consists of State Council members, Hon Sheikh Abdullah Saif Hilal al Mahruqi, Hon Salim Mohamed Masoud al Riyami, Hon Dr Zuhoor Abdullah Salim al Khanjari, Hon Maryam Issa Mohamed al Zadjali amongst other individuals.
