The Royal Army of Oman (RAO), represented by personnel from the Sultan of Oman Parachutes, Musandam Security Force, the Sultan of Oman Artillery, and Engineering Services of the Sultan’s Armed Forces, on Wednesday held an physical exercise with British forces.
The joint physical exercise, Mountain Storm or Assifat al Jabal was held beneath the auspices of Maj Gen Mattar bin Salim al Balushi, RAO commander.
The physical exercise took location at the RAO Combat Training Unit in Jebel Akhdar in the Governorate of Dakhliyah.
The military personnel carried out numerous workouts like stages of reconnaissance and mobilisation by utilizing various varieties of weapons. Participants showed a higher level of efficiency, reflecting the efficiency and capacities of RAO personnel in terms of hight altitude instruction.
The physical exercise comes inside the framework of instruction program adopted by the RAO Command in order to raise the level of combat efficiency amongst its personnel.
