The Public Authority for Consumer Protection (PACP), represented by the Department of Consumer Protection in the South Batinah governorate carried out intensive inspection campaigns in shops and industrial areas in Rustaq.

Saud bin Ali al Hamrashdi, head of the Market Regulation and Control Department, mentioned the campaigns had been carried out to make certain that shops, cafés and restaurants comply with the laws and regulations, in addition to producing certain the rates of goods and solutions offered to shoppers are uniform.
