PACDA calls for adoption of security recommendations at educational institutes

With the starting of the academic year, the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulances (PACDA) has emphasised the require to adhere to procedures for the security of students and employees at numerous educational institutions.

The authority noted that it is essential to train the students and staff about the evacuation procedures in buildings and inform them of all the emergency exits and assembly points.

The authority also stated that it is essential to make positive that there are no blockages in front of the emergency exits and make certain that all electrical gear have been shut down prior to leaving the buildings.

It is also essential to return all laboratory tools to their original locations and to make positive that they do not include any chemical substances in them. All essential precautions require to be taken when performing chemical experiments to stop accidents.
