The three-day Home & Building Show 2018 was inaugurated by H E Eng Mohsin bin Mohammed al Sheikh, chairman of Muscat Municipality, on Monday at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre (OCEC). The opening ceremony saw a number of dignitaries representing the Ministry of Housing and other public and private sector stakeholders.

Over 30 nations participate in Home &amp Building Show at OCEC

On Monday, scores of neighborhood, regional and international firms showcased their newest offerings in residence and creating connected gear, fittings and revolutionary options. Around 800 various brands, from more than 30 nations, are on show amid the higher-tech settings of the convention centre, stated Juma bin Mubarak al Araimi, chairman of Global Exhibitions and Conferences (GEC).

He added, “Together, they represent the most comprehensive collection of products, technologies and services related to home and building environment ever to be showcased in Oman.” Vinoth Sasidharan, project manager, GEC, stated, “Given the event’s immense popularity as the signature trade fair of Oman’s vibrant home and building construction industry, a number of international trade promotion agencies are participating in the 2018 edition. Trade associations from India, Italy, Iran and Egypt, which are major players in the home and building construction sector, have set up dedicated pavilions. They include Confindustria Marmomacchine (Italy), Advantage Austria and the Egyptian Furniture Export Council.”

Sasidharan added, “Indeed, the Home & Building Show 2018 has been conceived and organised to appeal to a wide array of professionals and executives who are part of Oman’s rapidly growing construction sector.”

Returning to this year’s show by well-known demand is a choice of exhibitors very best recognized for their delightful offerings in all-natural stones and ceramics.
