Oman Olympic Committee (OOC) has managed to get assistance for qualifying a quantity of athletes for participation in the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 in 3 sports, namely swimming, athletics and shooting. This is component of the assistance programme of the Olympic Solidarity of the International Olympic Committee.
Oman Olympic Committee has nominated a quantity of athletes following coordination with the concerned sports associations in order to take benefit of the grants supplied by the International Olympic Committee.
Based on the coordination carried out with the international federations and the final results scored by our athletes, 4 of them have been chosen to advantage from this assistance.
The athletes who will advantage from these scholarships are shooter Hamad al Khatri of the Oman Shooting Association, Mazoon al Alawiyah of the national athletics team and two swimmers, namely Issa al Adawi and Abdul Rahman al Kulaibi.
