ONEIC launches mobile application for simple payment of utility bills

The mobile application, ‘Bill & Pay’ was launched at a gala function organised below the auspices of H E Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Said al Sa’eedi, Minister of Legal Affairs and H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Abdullah al Bakri, Minister of Manpower at Grand Hyatt Muscat final week. Several best-level officials from numerous ministries, private sector and ONEIC also attended the launch occasion, stated a press release. The app is accessible in English and Arabic.

The simple-to-use Bill &amp Pay application, which can be utilized on all kinds of mobile devices is compatible with Android and Apple’s iOS platforms. It will take only 40 seconds for finishing an on-line payment. ONEIC Bill &amp Pay application, which was introduced to offer much better solutions to clients, also enables clients to view their account for paying electrical energy and water bills. Customers can verify their utility bills of the Muscat Electricity Distribution Company, Mazoon Electricity Company, Majan Electricity Company, Rural Areas Electricity Company, Public Authority for Electricity and Water, Dhofar Power Company and Salalah Sanitary Drainage Service Company.

Apart from the newly-launched mobile application, ONEIC enables clients to use various techniques of payment, which contain money, on-line payment, bank payment, credit/debit card payment and kiosk.
