H E Sheikh al Abbas bin Ibrahim al Harthy, Oman’s Ambassador to Malaysia, on Monday met student inventors Salim al Habsi and Mohammed al Habsi, who won the gold medal at the 29th International Invention, Innovation and Technology Exhibition (ITEX 2018) in Malaysia.

The ambassador commended their achievement in the health-related field and presented proposals for building the project, indicating that the invention of the ‘Smart Pharmaceutical System’ will serve a huge group, specifically the elderly and folks with visual impairment.

The student team ‘Sumou’ won the gold medal at the occasion which saw practically 1,000 inventions from distinct nations of the planet. The team contains students and graduates of Sultan Qaboos University representing numerous colleges.

The project is an integrated program that assists individuals in basic, and the elderly and the blind in certain to take their medication in the correct way.
