In April final year, the ROP had stopped issuing the ten-day visa, with vacationers only possessing the choice of a single-month visas for RO20.
Lt Gen Hassan bin Mohsen al Shuraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs issued the new choice (No 129/2018) on June 13, which came into impact from June 14.
The choice consists of amending nine products as nicely as adding two new products of ‘entry visas’ in Article 29 of the executive regulations of the Foreigners’ Residency Law.
The new products contain tourist visa charge for ten days for RO5. “Omani embassies/consulates can issue this visa in coordination with government agencies within the sultanate. This visa is extendable,” the ROP mentioned.
Another modify which has been introduced is that anybody who desires to submit an application to convert a visa (e.g. from go to to employment) should spend a non-refundable charge of RO50.
