The occasion, that took location in Al Bashaeer Club Hall in Adam, was held beneath the patronage of H H Sayed Mohammed bin Salim bin Ali al Said. The ceremony was also attended by Saif al Busaidi, vice president HR, Admin and CSR of Occidental Oman.
Occidental Oman collaborated with the Ministry of Education, represented by the Directorate General of Education in Dakhiliyah governorate, to honour 195 distinguished students from 13 schools across Adam. In addition to appreciation certificates, students had been rewarded with contemporary understanding aids such as higher top quality laptops that would aid them advance their expertise, expand their understanding and widen their understanding horizons.
Busaidi mentioned, “At Occidental Oman, we strongly believe in sustainable development and invest in initiatives that yield positive long term impacts in the communities where we operate. As we honour the students, we encourage them to keep up the good work and continue to excel because their achievements will always be rewarded.”
This initiative falls beneath the umbrella of strategic partnerships and continuous collaboration with important stakeholders and is component of Occidental Oman’s endeavour and lengthy-term commitment to market nearby communities.
