The occasion that took location in Hamra al Durooa School in Ibri was held beneath the patronage of H E Sheikh Saif bin Hamiar bin Mohamed al Malik al Shehi, Governor of Dhahirah. The ceremony was also attended by Saif al Busaidi, vice president HR, Admin and CSR of Occidental Oman, and Alya al Maimani, vice president, Operations Block 9/27 of Occidental Oman.
Occidental Oman collaborated with the Ministry of Education, represented by the Directorate General of Education in Dhahirah governorate, to honour 160 distinguished students from grades 1-12 in Hamra al Durooa School. In addition to appreciation certificates, students have been rewarded with contemporary understanding aids such as leading-notch laptops and tabs that would aid them advance their abilities, expand their information and widen their understanding horizons.
Busaidi stated, “At Occidental Oman, we strongly believe in sustainable development and invest in such initiatives that would yield positive long-term impacts in the communities where we operate in. As we honour the students today, we encourage them to keep up the good work and continue to excel because their achievements will always be rewarded.”
This initiative falls beneath the umbrella of strategic partnerships and continuous collaboration with crucial stakeholders and is component of Occidental Oman’s endeavour and lengthy-term commitment to market great neighbourhoods in the neighborhood communities.
