Oman’s Ministry of Tourism (MoT) Office, India has been recognised with a prestigious award for its contribution in showcasing the country as a wedding destination through its successful made-for-India brand campaign.

The WeddingSutra Influencer Award was not too long ago handed more than to Lubaina Sheerazi, India representative, Ministry of Tourism, Oman, at a glittering award ceremony held at The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai.

Since 2014, Oman has witnessed more than 23 per cent development in Indian arrivals. In 2016, Oman received 297,628 Indian arrivals as compared to 256,210 arrivals in 2014 that is more than 16 per cent development inside two years. In 2017, Oman received 321,161 Indian arrivals showcasing development of more than 7.90 per cent.
