MoCI mentioned that this comes inside the framework of government’s efforts to strengthen partnership among the public and private sectors to accomplish the country’s financial and developmental targets.
The ministry mentioned that the initial plot (127,224sq m) is at the Airport Heights in the wilayat of Seeb. The second plot (14,588sq m) is situated in Al Khuwayr and the third in Ghala Heights (13,267sq m) in the wilayat of Bausher.

MoCI mentioned that research had been carried out in order to figure out the nature of projects and their financial and social viability. “The studies include traffic movement in the areas and soil tests. The designs at the three sites will be modern and innovative as per the standards of environment-friendly buildings. This will comprise the use of solar panels and environment-friendly building materials. The projects at the three sites can emerge as models for new buildings in Muscat in particular and the sultanate in general.”
