MIS holds 29th graduation ceremony

This was followed by the Principal’s Address by Mr Stefano Piumatti.

In his speech Mr Stefano gave thanks to all the folks who have been involved and instrumental in the graduating student’s lives, every person an absolute integral component into the creating of ‘those we see in front us on stage.’ He expressed his thankfulness specifically to the ongoing help via thick and thin of the parental physique and, of course, to his teachers and admin employees who all, with selfless dedication, type the team that is MIS.  The 29th
graduating cohort of students is no exception to the fine set of young folks that have left the doors of Muscat International School in prior years.

Mr Stefano then completed his speech by affirming the work, dedication and tough perform that all graduates showed in reaching this stage of their lives and thanked them for getting been excellent ambassadors for MIS more than the years.  He wishes them each and every achievement in life and urged them to use this chance to celebrate the particular memories that they have while at MIS but also to appear forward to creating their dreams fascinating and genuine and above all often to stay humble and type and in this way be goodwill ambassadors to their communities and homesteads.  

Then followed speeches by graduates on behalf of their fellow graduating students.

The highlight of the ceremony was the distribution of college certificates by our honoured patron to the graduates of the GCE A-Level, General Education Diploma and Special Education classes, followed by the presentation of the following awards to the outstanding students.

Academic Awards had been presented to Deva Ravichandran and Shehr Bano Hasan for A-Level.  Tasneem Al-Balushi and Deema Al-Yousuf  had been presented the Academic Awards for GED. These students accomplished the highest academic normal in their graduating classes.

Council of International Schools Award was presented to Badr bin Ali Al-Yahya who very best exemplifies superb international citizenship which is expressed by a clear commitment to sustained interaction with students of other nationalities, languages or ethnic backgrounds, political/financial systems in a spirit of international understanding and cooperation.

 

MIS Citizenship Awards had been presented to Najma Al-Farsi and Sultan Al-Busaidi, who showed exemplary college citizenship, dedication to Prefect duty and model attitude towards self-discipline, decorum and pride in their college

MIS Foundation Awards had been presented to Qamra Al-Kindi and Al-Khalil Al-Jahdhami whose self-discipline, integrity and sensitive care for the welfare of fellow students have been exemplary in enhancing  the school’s aim  of encouraging leadership and service to the neighborhood.

At the finish of the Ceremony, Mr. Said Al-Qadhi, Chairman, presented The Hon. Sayyid Dr. Said bin Sultan Al-Busaidi with a commemorative present in appreciation for his help to the college and education.
