The workshop discussed the coordination of function in between the scholarship programmes of OCO and education help funds in private greater education institutions.
The workshop was held below the patronage of H E Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed al Sarmi, Undersecretary in Ministry of Higher Education.

Bader bin Mohammed al Za’abi, acting director of Administration and Human Resources at the Oman Charitable Organization presented a visual presentation on the organisation’s functions, programmes it offers, and the beneficiary groups.
Za’abi stated that Oman Charitable Organization’s scholarship programme aims to aid and assistance students, from social safety, orphans and low earnings households, who have a basic diploma. In addition, the programme also offers help to these who want to continue greater education in the sultanate. But the instances are deemed primarily based on specific circumstances.
The workshop also incorporated a discussion session with the representatives of private greater education institutions.
