Khimji Ramdas' social development arm, Eshraqa, recently distributed 8,000 Ramadan boxes to families in need during the build-up to Ramadan.

Khimji Ramdas’ Eshraqa delivers eight,000 Ramadan boxes to households across Oman

The team visited 18 charities and social help associations across Oman to hand more than boxes containing crucial things reaching beneficiaries across the nation.

The team partnered up with social help teams to distribute Ramadan boxes to villages of Hanshift, Al Laho and Yitito supporting in the want of neighborhood communities.

Popular Social media influencers such as Maha al Bulushi, Madiha al Sulimany and Issam al Zadjali had been appointed as ‘Eshraqa’s Ambassadors’ to assist market the mission raising awareness and supporting the requirements of neighborhood folks.
Nailesh Khimji, director of Khimji Ramdas, stated, “The classical values of Ramadan make it a period of caring and sharing with those who need it the most. Khimji Ramdas has always endeavoured to spread the message of sharing and caring through a variety initiatives and projects under Eshraqa, which aims to support families across Oman and ensure that they too enjoy the social festivities and come together in the spirit of Ramadan.”

He added, “Every year, we conduct aid campaigns in the form of food drives, donations and goodwill contributions in collaboration with a number of philanthropic organisations to ensure that we tend to the needs of local people and contribute to community wellbeing, as one of our key areas of focus. Eshraqa is about helping others in tandem with the core values of Omani society and Ramadan is an important time of year where we can make a humble contribution to those less fortunate than ourselves.”

Reflecting the organisation’s family members values, KR will host an iftar for more than 1,000 of its workers and their households on May 31. Other current neighborhood centred activities will see the team’s celebrate Qaranqasho with kids admitted to the Cancer Ward at The Royal Hospital. Eshraqa strives to make sure that its contributions are cautiously planned and evaluated in order to diversify and attain the maximum quantity of folks, specifically these in the greatest want.
