May 7th, 2018 was however yet another entertaining-filled day at Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir as student members of the ‘Entrepreneurs Club’
(Commerce Stream) celebrated “Support Staff Day” to honour the efforts of the unsung heroes. Mr. Kirti Jesrani, Co-Convener and Co-Treasurer of the SMC, and Mr. Binay Shukla, Chairperson of ERP Systems, had been the Guests of Honour.
They welcomed the members of the help employees into the MP Hall by presenting ‘Thank You’ cards to them.
At the begin of the function, the hygiene and other help employees, each Omani and Expats, had been provided a warm welcome by the students of ‘Entrepreneurs Club’
who duly acknowledged their difficult function and contribution towards the effective functioning of the college.
The gathering enjoyed a video presentation of the interviews of the senior help employees as they spoke about themselves and their everyday routine. Class 12 students–Venisha, Khushboo and Nazia expressed their admiration for the help employees by reciting poems and producing speeches in Gujarati, Bangla and Arabic, particularly written for the occasion. They deeply appreciated the tireless efforts on component of the School workforce to maintain the college functioning like a nicely-oiled machine.
Mr. Binay Shukla, SMC member, congratulated the whole help employees and thanked them for their selfless service. He also lauded the efforts of the students and towards this noble gesture, He stated that they’d set up a great tradition by taking the initiative to honour the assisting hands that make their college hours so comfy.
To entertain the help employees, there had been games to play exactly where they vied with 1 yet another to win desirable prizes. To felicitate them, present vouchers had been provided to all the members of the help employees by SMC. It was an overwhelming moment for Ms. Jamila, a senior Omani help employees member, who expressed her thoughts of gratefulness toward the School Management, Teachers and Students for their sort gesture. The function came to a close as the gathering commingled leisurely. It was a pleased occasion to see the SMC members and teaching employees enjoying the luncheon with the help employees of the college.
Through this warm gesture, the students have learnt how to worth the dignity of labour and respect the ‘support staff’.
