Students of Indian School Ghubra (ISG) paid tribute to their teachers in a special assembly held on the occasion of the Teachers Day, which marks the birth of Dr Sarvapelli Radhakrishnan, the former President of India. They expressed their appreciation and gratitude to their teachers with a presentation and a song.

Students of Indian School Ghubra (ISG) paid tribute to their teachers in a unique assembly held on the occasion of the Teachers Day, which marks the birth of Dr Sarvapelli Radhakrishnan, the former President of India. They expressed their appreciation and gratitude to their teachers with a presentation and a song. 

The Quiz Round associated to the teachers of the college elicited peals of laughter from all present.

Principal Papri Ghosh mentioned that she was really proud to be recognized very first and foremost as a teacher as it is the core profession from which all other professions spring. Expressing her appreciation to the teaching faculty, she mentioned that she stands tall as the head of ISG only simply because of the team of devoted teachers. The principal concluded her address with a poem titled ‘Why God Made Teachers’ to highlight the pivotal part teachers play in shaping the lives of students. The teachers also completely enjoyed the entertainment programme presented by the students. Students sang, danced and carried out game shows which reflected the really like and respect they really feel for teachers.
