The exhibition was officially opened on May 13 by H E Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Mohammed al Shihi, Minister of Regional Municipalities and Water Affairs, in the presence of H E Mohsin bin Mohammed al Shaikh, Haya Water chairman, and some undersecretaries.
Eng Hussain bin Hassan AbdulHussain, Haya Water CEO, stated that the Labour Day celebration was organised to show appreciation towards the employees for their continuous efforts and it aimed to further motivate them to work harder and hand in hand in order to achieve business goals while also meeting their demands and needs that are in line with the Omani Labour Law. He added that what was seen at the exhibition was a clear indication of the company’s commitment to support its employees and unleash their talents by displaying their talents and interests. During the exhibition, many employees presented their work, products and talents. Many beautiful portraits made by the employees were displayed. Various divisions were also given the opportunity to exhibit their work and their achievements.
When it comes to Omanisation, AbdulHussain stated that Omanisation is considered a national duty and always given priority. Haya Water achieved 83 per cent at all levels.
