The objective of the tournament was to market football in between Indian expatriates in Oman. Sanjay Balakrishnan, basic manager, Muscat Overseas Equipment Trading Co, inaugurated the tournament. A total of 12 Indian expatriate teams participated in this tournament and the teams have been FC Jalan, FC Kerala, Fayha FC, Dejavu FC, Team STS, FC Malappuram, FC Ruwi B, United Kerala FC, Realex FC, Town Team Barka, Bluestar FC and GFC Azaiba.
Profiles of about 20 Indian football legends (male and female) have been displayed at the venue to encourage the younger generation. More than 500 folks came to watch the tournament along with their households and kids. The spponsors for the tournament have been Noor Gazal and Golden Moon Restaurant. The final results of the Hammers Super League 2018 have been as follows: Winners – Fayha FC First Runner Up – Realex FC Second Runner Up- FC Ruwi B Fair Play – Town Team Barka Top Scorer – Naseeb (Realex FC) and Best Goal Keeper – Najeer (Fayha FC).
