First Abeer Hospital opens in Muscat

Located in Ruwi, the hospital was inaugurated by Sheikh Dr Al Khattab bin Ghalib al Hinai, deputy chairman of the State Council, in the presence of Alungal Mohammed, president, Abeer Medical Group, Dr Mazen Jawad al Khabouri, director common of Private Healthcare Establishment, Ministry of Health, as effectively as other dignitaries from Oman and GCC nations.

Dr Jemshith Ahmed, vice president, Strategic Planning, Abeer Medical Group, mentioned, “Located on the busy Ruwi High Street, Abeer Hospital offers dedicated parking and valet parking facilities for patients. Carefully recruited clinicians, nurses, paramedics and other support staff are to offer premium care. A multi-ethnic team of more than a dozen nationalities ensures cultural synchronisation and reach to the different expatriate communities as well as nationals.”

He added, “Abeer group is in the process of upgrading to JCI standards across all its hospitals in the Middle East. In-house Quality Department continuously evaluates the performance of the hospital in all relevant areas including clinical practices, documentation, building maintenance, safety and fire drills.”
