H H Sayyid Haitham bin Tariq al Said, Minister of Heritage and Culture and chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Museum opened ‘Belarus at the Crossroads of Civilised Communication’ exhibition at the National Museum on Monday.
The opening of the exhibition which will run for 3 months was attended by Yuri Bondar, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus.
The exhibition is getting held as element of the current cooperation in between the sultanate and Belarus. It seeks to boost cultural relations in between the two nations. The concept behind the exhibition is to boost the historic ties in between Belarus and the Islamic planet. Peaceful communication with the Islamic planet has brought rewards to Belarus and the Islamic planet which includes enriching and diversifying Belarus culture.
The National History Museum of Belarus has numerous artefacts that reflect the historic ties in between Belarus and the Islamic planet. They embody relationships in the course of the previous periods in between the Eastern Slovak and the Islamic Khilafah via trade in between East and West.
The go to will permit the Belarus delegation to hold official talks with Sayyid Haitham and Royal Opera House Muscat. The delegation will also sign a memorandum of understanding in between National Museum and Belarusian National History and Culture Museum. The exhibition concludes on July two.
