Embassy hosts seminar to increase investment in India

Muscat – 

The Indian Embassy in Muscat hosted the ‘Invest in India’ seminar final week to attain out to Omani businesspersons and institutions, such as banks and funds, with a view to familiarise them with investment possibilities obtainable in India and India’s current transformation as a preferred location.

H E Indra Mani Pandey, Indian Ambassador to Oman, mentioned, “The quickly developing economy of India, which is the third biggest economy of the planet on acquiring energy parity basis, provides immense possibilities for investments by Omani businesspersons. India and Oman are maritime neighbours. The geographical proximity has been reinforced with in depth air and sea connectivity. Omani enterprise neighborhood is familiar with India.

“The purpose of the Invest in India seminar organised by the embassy was to inform about the opportunities for investments available in various sectors. It is also to highlight that doing business and making investments in India has become easier than ever due to numerous steps taken by the Indian government to reform the investment climate. India has already emerged as one of the best destinations for investments and Oman’s business community should move fast to benefit from lucrative investment opportunities.”

India has emerged as a preferred investment location amongst worldwide investors. Supported by a big and developing domestic marketplace and skilled workforce of 400mn youth, India’s US$two.4tn economy provides many profitable enterprise possibilities. India would continue to supply immense possibilities for profitable investments.
