Destination Sustainability and Arabia CSR Network sign MoU

The agreement also aims to market the Arabia CSR Awards and the Arabia CSR Forum as effectively as determine collaboration possibilities to drive CSR and sustainability efforts in the area.

Shaima al Lawati, founder and managing director of Destination Sustainability, stated, “By joining efforts with Arabia CSR Network, we hope to strengthen the understanding among companies, non-governmental organisations, and government entities on sustainability practices and social responsibility.”

Through tools supplied by each organisations such as GRI Sustainability Reporting and CSR coaching workshops, businesses in Oman will acquire what they want to implement very best practices. As component of the collaboration, Destination Sustainability plans to market the Arabia CSR Awards, which acts as a platform to aid entities evaluate their present social duty and sustainability overall performance.

Following the partnership announcement, Habiba al Mar’ashi, president and CEO of Arabia CSR Network introduced the 11th edition of the Arabia CSR Awards, saying, “The Arabia CSR Awards has grown and expanded considerably over the past decade receiving nearly 1,000 registered applications, from over 800 organisations, representing 33 industry sectors, from 13 Arab countries. Today, it is considered the sustainability benchmark within the region.”
