Salalah- The 21st Annual National Conference of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgeons of Oman (Omanorl 2018) concluded at the Sultan Qaboos Youth Complex for Culture and Entertainment in Salalah on Saturday. It was held under the patronage of H E Sayyid Mohammed bin Sultan bin Hamoud al Busaidi, Minister of State and Governor of Dhofar.

Conference evaluations most recent developments in ENT, head and neck illness therapy

Dr Khalid bin Mohammed al Meshaikhi, director basic of Health Services in the Governorate of Dhofar, mentioned that Omanorl 2018 and the symposium, held on the sidelines of the conference, reviewed the most recent developments in the therapy of ENT, head and neck illnesses.

H E Busaidi inaugurated the accompanying wellness exhibition for the sponsoring businesses of the conference.

The exhibition also showed the most recent and most crucial health-related gear, instruments and endoscopes utilized in otolaryngology.

Around 400 ENT specialists from the GCC, Arab nations, Asia, Europe, America and Canada attended the conference, along with 100 speakers from inside and outdoors the sultanate.

Omanorl 2018 was organised by Oman ENT Society, in cooperation with the Directorate General of Health Services in Dhofar, Sultan Qaboos University, Medical Services in the Armed Forces and Gulf ENT Society.
