Child mortality price drops to five.9%, says H E Dr Sa’eedi

The mortality price amongst youngsters below 5 years in the sultanate has dropped to five.9 per cent compared to 20 per cent in the 1970s, mentioned H E Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Obaid al Sa’eedi, Minister of Health.

H E Dr Saeedi mentioned the well being sector in the sultanate has come a extended way, and pointed out that this alter is not only due to the solutions offered more than the years but also due to the improvement in way of life in common.

However, he singled out the improvement of well being solutions in the sultanate in the current years. There are now 49 hospitals run by the Ministry of Health with five,034 beds. In addition, some 206 well being centres serve the public and 65 of them are equipped with beds (a total of 109 beds).

H E Dr Sa’eedi mentioned the ministry has focused on main healthcare and other healthcare facilities in the nation. He added that the sultanate is now a part model on how to establish and handle high quality healthcare.
