According to a press release, Shubert has his eyes set on maybe his most difficult feat of physical endurance to date on February 11. He will try to cycle 1,300km from south Muscat to Salalah.
The existing record for this distance is six days. Shubert plans to set the record now in below 48 hours. Between March 2013 and March 2014, he embarked on an unassisted, 30,000km circumnavigation of the globe by bicycle passing via 29 nations, 3 continents, which integrated all extremes of climate and terrain.
