Bank Muscat, the flagship monetary solutions provider in the sultanate, in step with its vision ‘To serve you better, everyday’ and commitment to strengthen help to tiny and medium enterprises (SMEs), celebrated the graduation of the sixth batch of Al Wathbah Academy in Sohar below the auspices of H E Sheikh Ali bin Ahmed al Shamsi, Wali of Sohar.
Ten entrepreneurs from North and South Batinah governorates effectively completed the SME coaching programme to obtain accredited international certification.
Radhiya al Lawatiya, senior regional manager – Interior Region Branches, in her welcome address highlighted the contributions of the distinctive Al Wathbah Academy programme to market sustainable improvement and strengthen the function of SMEs in the financial improvement of Oman. She stated that the bank has launched Al Wathbah Academy programmes to advantage entrepreneurs across Oman.

We congratulate all enterprising entrepreneurs who successfully completed the programme. The diverse sectors chosen for self-employment reflect the determination and commitment of the entrepreneurs to follow their business dreams. The bank will continue to partner with the academy graduates to help them progress in their career.”
The wide variety of sectors selected by Al Wathbah Academy graduates in Sohar incorporated laundry, legal consultancy, kindergarten college, retail steel provide and fabrication, freight forwarding, shipping and logistics, building activities, frozen foodstuff, industrial and educational human sources, garage and vehicle wash.
Experienced faculty and consultants carried out the eight-month Al Wathbah Academy programme, major to accredited international certification by Project Management Institute (PMI). Dawood al Harassi thanked Bank Muscat for the distinctive coaching chance in SME improvement.
