A ‘Tuberculosis Awareness and Clean Hands’ programme was not too long ago held at Al Injaz Private School by the Infection Prevention and Control Programme (IPCP) School Health Teaching in collaboration with the Community Outreach Committee, Oman Specialised Nursing Institute (OSNI).
The students of grades 9,10 and 11 who took element in this occasion have been shown a presentation about cough etiquette. Hand hygiene was explained in a distinctive way with a Blu-ray machine to detect the bacteria on hands. The appropriate methodology of washing hands was demonstrated to the students. This occasion was in accordance with the World Health Organization (WHO)’s 2018 theme – Wanted: Leaders for a TB-Free World.
