The Property Survey and Evaluation Committee of the Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources has announced the list of citizens to be compensated on being affected by the Batinah Coastal Road Project.

94 citizens impacted by Batinah Coastal Road Project to be compensated

“The total number of citizens to receive compensation is 94. Three dates have been kept for the citizens’ visit – September 17, September 24 and October 1. The areas that the citizens have been affected are Shinas, Sohar, Saham, Liwa, Suwaiq, Khabourah, Musannah and Barka,” mentioned an official from the ministry.

“These citizens who have been affected by the Batinah Coastal Road Project should follow up at the committee’s office in Al Khuwayr,” he added.

Their names have been published in 3 lists. The citizens whose names have been published should go to the committee on the dates pointed out.

The citizens should bring with them the following:

  • Original copy of the house ownership documents connected to the Ministry of Housing in North and South Batinah governorates
  • Originals and copies of documents connected to the disconnecting of electrical energy and water at the impacted housing, either inhabited or abandoned
  • Copy of ID card or passport
  • Originals and copies of the legal agency documents for these who represent the heirs, and they should be authorised to obtain the quantity
  • Original and copy of the legal details – inventory of heirs
  • Authorisation for the recipient of a organization or industrial establishment
  • Letter of foreclosure of the pledged house or the presence of a representative from the celebration holding the house
