The Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs, in cooperation with the United States Fish and Wildlife Service, organised a presentation on fixing monitoring gadgets on turtles.

The presentation by the specialists got here after the sector go to to Masirah Island from July 14 to 17 throughout which 21 monitoring gadgets had been tagged on loggerhead turtles.

The go to was organised by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs and the United States Fish and Wildlife Service with the participation of the Environment Society of Oman, Five Oceans Environmental Services and the Royal Air Force of Oman.

The presentation reviewed the important thing evaluation and outcomes of the sector go to to Masirah Island, which is the most important meeting website for this type of turtles on the earth. The presentation aimed toward finding out the pure habitats of such turtles, their migration strains and behaviours.
