What you can see in Muscat?
Let us first begin with what you can see in Muscat. Yes, this capital city of Oman is one of the most happening cities here. In fact, tourists who have plans to spend holidays in Oman first think of Muscat holidays . The reason for this can just be very simple. This is the city which has got almost everything which any tourist would love to see during their tour. Here are so many tourist places which are the best but anyone who comes here never would like to miss out the chance to see the city's main attraction that is Sultan Qaboos' Palace. Yes, this palace can really said to be the main attraction of the city which attracts a large number of tourists. Other tourist places which you shall visit during your stay here in this city include Al-Hisn Souq and Khor Rori.

If you are wondering where you can go in Salalah for shopping then you need to just simply head this special market where you can get an opportunity to buy almost anything, handicrafts, souvenirs etc. Just be a bit smarter when you shop here. You will have to be very much adept in dealing with the shopping owners who may try to persuade you to buy a thing of 2 TL for a 10 TL (Turkish Lira). You will have to have good bargaining skills and if you are the one who do not have such skills then you may suffer a bit of losses.

Event – Khareef
One special thing about Salalah is the event that which is related to Khareef (in a different word, monsoon). Khareef is, in fact, celebrated here as an annual event with all fervor and enthusiasm. Many of the tourists from different parts of the world come here specifically to be a part of this festival which is very typical of Salalah. Just join this festival if you are here in the monsoon season (July-Aug).
